Difficult TimesIt seems like there are more stresses in the modern world each and every day. Many people are beside themselves in spasms of side-by-side grief and fury over the events that have recently transpired in New Orleans—shocking news, I know, but bear with me for a moment. Yet it seems like, even in a time when we should be reminded of the sanctity of human life, when all the world’s peoples should band together and help those in such dire need (their needs being direr than say, the needs of a child in Zimbabwe. The Scene--How I'm TakenSo here we are at the newest punk or  funk or hip-hop/death metal ska (no one listens to ska!)  extravaganza. Dragged here--not of my own  volition, of course--I am forced (coerced, one might say)  into observation. So what do I see?   
Why, there's Captian Mosh!  Set upon with glee, he forces his way  to the front of the crowd. Bound and determined,  he is, to ruin the fun of the mosh by hurting someone!  He must have problems at home.

So, if you haven't guessed by now, I am on a kind of hiatus. Not so much from creativity--more on that later--but from writing and, in particular, deviantART. Now, I know this sounds like I'm quitting, but I'm not; I just can't write during the summer. There's too many other things to do.

Speaking of which, my (I hope this doesn't piss her off...) girlfriend of about three and a half years, the lovely ~subverse will be visiting me out here in Montana! So, that's awesome, negaxonic awesome, even.

Anyway, so if I haven't been writing, how have I been funneling my creativity? Why, through the power of comics, of course! I have about six of them made--I can't draw or write for shit, but maybe if they're blown up enough, you might be able to make some kind of sense out of them. Anyone wanna see these things?

So, that's it. I'll be checking this and such, I just won't be posting for awhile. Peace.

...Looks like nobody's posted here in a while.

Anyway, just to say that I read a few more of your stories and/or poetry - and they were good. Also, I read 'The Scene -- How I'm Taken' whilst NOT under the severe influence of caffeine, and actually understood it. :altermind: One of the better poems that I've read, to tell you the truth, given that a lot of my friends are all 'supa-goth' and write the sickest, most depressing, and overall, sad poetry that I've ever read. Sad as in 'poorly written'.

Keep writing - I'm looking forward to more. :w00t:
